Deactivate

$kit->coupons->deactivate()#

Deactivates a promotion code so it can no longer be redeemed by new customers. Subscriptions that already have the discount applied keep it, this only prevents future redemptions.

ExceptionWhen
StripeOperationErrorThe promotion code ID does not exist.

Notes#

This deactivates the promotion code, not the underlying coupon. The coupon rule itself still exists in Stripe and can be attached to a new promotion code later if needed.
After this call, validate() on the matching plain-text code returns null.
